Mikayla Dubnik

Client Associate

Mikayla Dubnik understands pressure, perseverance, and the importance of staying focused when things do not go exactly as planned. A former collegiate golfer at Mercer University, Mikayla spent years competing in a mentally demanding sport that taught her discipline, resilience, and how to turn challenges into opportunities.

Mikayla first joined SGL as a summer intern while earning her finance degree at Mercer. Between classes and representing the Bears on the golf course, she quickly connected with the people, the culture, and the meaningful work being done for clients. Following a standout golf career that featured three collegiate tournament wins, a Georgia Women’s Open title, and numerous academic and athletic honors, Mikayla chose to bring that same drive and work ethic to a new path in financial planning.

Today, Mikayla is building her career as an advisor at SGL. She holds her Series 7 and Series 66 certifications and is working toward her Life, Health, and Variable insurance licenses. Detail-oriented, motivated, and known for her strong work ethic, Mikayla enjoys helping clients organize their financial lives and work toward the goals that matter most to them.

A Gainesville native and North Hall High School graduate, Mikayla earned both her bachelor’s degree in finance and her Masters of Business Administration from Mercer University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family (including her jet black goldendoodle, Bubba), and has recently found herself ready to pick the golf clubs back up again—this time, just for fun.
